Responsible for Heritage at Dubai Culture, Fatema Lootah has collected eyewitness accounts of important as well as everyday events during a 40-year period by taking audio and video recordings of elderly Emiratis before their time runs out. Using her research, she conducts regular folk history sessions in schools, so that younger students can learn about their past and heritage.
