Born into a cooking dynasty in Corgeno on the shores of Lake Comabbio in Northern Italy, Michelin-starred Italian chef Giorgio Locatelli is rapidly becoming as well known in Dubai as he is in his adopted country, the UK, where he is considered one of the finest Italian chefs. His stunning Ronda Locatelli Restaurant at the Atlantis has introduced Dubai to his own brand of cooking, highlighting the natural flavours of quality produce delivered with a creative touch.

Giorgio has had a column in the Guardian and written a number of bestselling books, most recently Made In Sicily, published in 2011. He has presented several television programmes, including Sicily Unpacked, a food and art travelogue with Andrew Graham-Dixon, shown on BBC television in January 2012.
