P G Bhaskar lives in Dubai with his wife and son. When asked what he does for a living, he somewhat sheepishly replies ‘banking’. He loves cricket and is often found on his sofa staring intently at the television mouthing profanities when things don’t go according to his plan. When not watching TV, writing or banking, he puts together questions in the hope of getting people to attend his quizzes.

P J also contributes articles to various publications, including Weekend magazine and the Khaleej Times. His debut novel, Jack Patel’s Dubai Dreams, was published by Penguin India in August 2011 and follows the fortunes of Jaikishan ‘Jack’ Patel, a Gujarati banker enjoying success in Dubai until the world financial crisis complicates his life. A sequel is scheduled for publication in early 2013.
