Fadwa Al Qasem
A refugee by inheritance, a woman with a restless soul and a gypsy’s spirit, a Palestinian with a Canadian citizenship born in Libya (1963), Fadwa Al Qassem holds a BA in English Literature from the UK and is currently studying Art Therapy.
She is an author and an artist who writes in both Arabic and English. She creates art, paints with her hands and feet, takes pictures, designs jewellery, and dances. She started writing at 14.
Fadwa teaches Art Journaling in Dubai. Some of her artwork is at Muse Artz in Times Square, Dubai. She has written short stories and books, including Paradise No More and The Scent of Cardamom. Awaiting publication in the USA is her book A World of Artist Journal Pages. She is currently working on Book of Forbidden Thoughts.
