Emirati scriptwriter Mohammad Hassan is one of the founders of the film industry in the UAE and advisor to a film project by Watani. He has won 32 awards for best script and best film in the UAE, Qatar, Italy, New York, Russia, Morocco and Iraq.
His work includes: Amen, Small Sky, Tanbak, Mary, Evening Paradise, Wind. He wrote television movies such as Aldhana, An Incomplete Picture, Perfume House, The Shirt of Youssef. He is currently writing drama projects such as Red Dirt, Women of Water and Paper Plane.
Mohammad’s books include Grief Has Five Fingers, Solitary Traffic, Paradise in a While and Silent Light.
He is a founding member of Villa Cinema & Faradees and has presented several seminars on the film industry in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait & Oman.
